While I was searching for an option for a mini player on windows 10, i found a solution. Since every topic I could find about this topic was locked for replying, so I figured I'd make a new one. The solution I found is as follows: make sure you have chrome browser. Type windows key + R (run). You can't hear specific songs, albums, artists or personal playlists on demand, but you can ask for music based on genre, mood or activity, or for Spotify-curated playlists. Spotify Premium: If you have a Spotify Premium account you can play content on demand. The Google Nest Home smart speaker family and its all-serving helper, Google Assistant, accommodate a number of music services. You'll be asked to set your default player in the initial Google Home app setup, with options including Google's own Play Music and YouTube Music, Pandora, Deezer and, of course, Spotify. So, by simply saying “Ok Google, play The Weeknd”, it will automatically use Spotify to play music instead of Google Play. You can even tell Google Home to play a specific Spotify playlist. You can still use Google Play Music when you want—you just have to say “play Drake on Google Play Music”—it just won’t be the default. Having a similar issue. Bought a mini on top of an existing Lenovo Smart Screen. The Lenovo plays music via Spotify as requested via a free account. The Mini refuses to play any requested music advising that i need a premium account. Can anyone advise why?
