Go wireless and play Spotify on Bluetooth supported devices such as speakers, headphones, and even your car.
My Sony Android TV (KD55X9305C) does not send commands to my other Google Home devices. All my devices (lights, Nest thermostat, Nest Hubs, Speakers, TVs etc.) are connected to the Google Home app, but when I say to the TV's Google Assistant 'set thermostat to 20 degrees' or 'turn on the living room lights', it does not work. Other common solutions: Clear the app cache and data. Uninstall and reinstall the app. Restart your Fire TV device. Press and hold the Select and Play/Pause buttons at the same time, for 10 seconds. Close any other apps you’re not using; Reinstall the app; Check @SpotifyStatus for any ongoing issues; Didn’t work? If you’re still having issues, see if it’s the same on a different device, or with the web player. If it’s not the same there, it’s likely an issue with your device: Check your device is supported and up to date.
You’ll need:
- The Spotify app on a Bluetooth supported phone, tablet, or computer.
- A Bluetooth supported audio device (such as a speaker, car, watch, headphones, etc).
I recently purchased a Sony smart tv with spotify app preloaded but yesterday it stopped working just shows the logo plus error. Can anyone assist.

- Both devices have sufficient power.
- You’re connected to the right device. You might need to disconnect any other devices.
- You haven’t reached the maximum number of devices you can pair at any one time.
- The connection allows media sharing. Look for this option in the Bluetooth settings of your phone, tablet, or computer.
- You may need to select the device you’re pairing to as the default for your phone, tablet, or computer. Look for this option in the Bluetooth settings.
